The youth must be actively involved in taking the public programmes to the masses, particularly rural poor and the weaker sections .
We believe that development should be valued- based.
We believe in practicing and promoting our national value and kindliness , love , tolerance , truth , honesty , and non-violence .
We believe in making the village-level Youth Clubs strong . The Youth clubs are the very foundation of the NYK movement.
We believe in mobilising the youth by appealing to their spirit of nationalism and to their sense of responsibility . Mobilising them through monetary  means is undesirable and against the principles of volunteerism .
We believe that our youth and our Youth Clubs should be self–reliant, self  supporting and capable of standing on their own feet, not dependent on welfare, grants and hand outs,

We believe in providing the highest standards of service to the Youth Club and its members.
We believe in practicing strict economy in all our establishment expenses so that more

funds are made available for conducting youth programmes
We believe in finding solutions rather than just identifying problems.
